QUETTA: Balochistan Professors and Lecturers Association (BPLA) has decided to boycott the ongoing practical examinations and marking of papers of the Intermediate (F.A / F.Sc) in the province.
The decision to this effect was made during a meeting of the association which was held with its President, Professor Javed Baloch in the chair the other day.
Professor Javed Baloch told the media that the BPLA had decided in compulsion to pressurize the government for acceptance of their demands.
He mentioned that the demands are included the reinstatement of three professors suspended during the intermediate exams as well as of the teaching and other staff of Government College Ziarat besides approval of the teaching allowance for the college teachers and others.
He said that the government despite assurances made regarding acceptance of the demands having not been paying any attention towards them, which has caused resentment among college teachers in the province.
Professor Javed Baloch said that if the demands were not met immediately then the boycott of the practical exams and papers marking would remain continued.
