Strike continues for the recovery of Dr. Manaf Tareen

QUETTA, Sep 21 (Online): Strike continued on the 3rd day in all state run hospital of Balochistan for the recovery of the Cardiac Specialist Dr. Manaf Tareen.
The Pakistan Medical Association Balochistan and the Young doctors Association including Baloch Dr. Forum comprising of core committee continued strike on third day for the recovery of Cardiac Specialist Dr. Manaf.
In view of this, All OPDs were closed down from 8 a.m. to 11: 00 a.m. while they also decided to hold protest demonstration in this respect.
All Medical Association doctors claimed that the government is not paying keen interest for the recovery of Dr. Tareen while the government should provide protective environment to doctors to perform their duty without terror.
They further claimed that we would halt activities in all Federal hospital of Balochistan if our demands were not fulfilled.
It is significant to mention here that Doctors Association has given three days warning to government and police and despite passing of two days they could not recover Dr. Manaf Tareen.
Meanwhile, the patients coming from for flung areas are facing severe difficulties and they also demanded form government to pay heeds towards their woos so that the poor masses would get some relief.
