Younas Baloch says: QMC committed to take action against violation of building code

QUETTA: The Deputy Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, Muhammad Younas Baloch has said that the Corporation has made a decision to take action on violation of the building code and encroachments. However, we would need cooperation of the people in this regard, he stated while talking to different delegation in his chamber.
The Deputy Mayor said that the Corporation is also focusing on bringing improvement in cleanliness situation in the metropolis. In this regard, we would also need the support of the masses as it is our collective responsibility to keep the city clean, he maintained.
He also mentioned that the work has been started on emergent basis to improve the cleanliness situation. He said that our teams are working in different parts of the city.
Referring particularly about the building code, he said that no one would be spared on violation of the building code. We have to ensure implementation on the building code, he stressed.
Younas Baloch said that he represents the masses so his doors are always open for them.
He said that although there are numerous issues we are facing in the city, but still we have the strong resolve to address them.
