SESA, BSTU condemn suspension of BPLA office bearers

QUETTA: The Senior Education Staff Association (SESA) has condemned the suspension of officers bearers of the Balochistan Professors and Lecturers Association (BPLA).
According to a press release issued here, it was started that on one hand, the Secretary Higher and Technical Education is making tall claims of bringing improvement in education sector while on the other hand, the so-called education emergency is enforced in the province, he maintained.
It was stated that the teachers have vital role in a civilized society, but the leadership of BPLA has been placed under suspension on raising issues of the college teachers.
The government should take cognizance of the matter and reinstated all those suspended professors and lecturers accepting their “genuine” demands, the SESA demanded.
BSTU condemnation:
Meanwhile, the Balochistan School Teachers Union (BSTU) has also expressed its sorrow over suspension of college teachers by the government.
In a statement issued here, it was stated the government on one hand talks of promotion of education, but at the same time, it is terminating the teachers on the other hand.
The demands of BPLA must be fulfilled immediately and those suspended must be reinstated so that the studies of students may not suffer any more, it was demanded.
