Laptops distributed among BUITEMS students

QUETTA May 26 (PPI): It is unfortunate we build buildings in the province but failed to form institutions.
This was stated by Member Balochistan Assembly and former education minister Tahir Mahmood while distributing Laptops among girl and boy students at Green Hall of Takatu Campus of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) here Tuesday. These Laptops have been distributed under PM Laptop scheme.
He said it is satisfying that BUITEMS is not only equipped University with modern and other facilities but it is also an institution of international level. It is also realized here that future of our children is very bright and in the safe hands under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Ahmed Farooq Bazai.
He said provincial government was focusing its attention on education and taking effective measures for checking cheating.
He was of the view it is priority of Prime Minister to create educational revolution in Balochistan by removing darkness of illiteracy so that the province moves on path to development. He said this ceremony of distributing laptops among the students is reflective of thinking of prime minister so that students could be identified with modern educational demands.
He added that 250 students have received laptops from his MPA fund and it is his desire that Vice chancellor should also distribute scholarships among these students.
Speaking on the occasion Ahmed Farooq Bazai thanked Tahir Mahmood for visiting BUITEMS and said that he was education friendly and close friend of BUITEMS. His services for education are not hidden to anyone.
He also invited all the members of Balochistan Assembly for visit to IT University.
