BUJ holds protest demonstration

QUETTA July 26 (PPI): Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) held a protest demonstration in front of Press Club here Sunday and protested over abduction and manhandling of Faheem Siddiqi Senior Reporter Geo TV Karachi.
Protesting journalists chanted slogans in support of Faheem Siddiqi and against Sind Government.
Addressing protestors President Quetta Press Club Shahzada Zulfiqar, Secretary General Khalil Ahmed and former Secretary General Abdul Khaliq Rind said that some people attired in police uniform stopped vehicle of Fahteem Siddiqui in Karachi and manhandled him. They also kept him under hostage.
They said it could not be known who the men in police uniform were. If really they were police men or terrorists in police uniform. But it was known that this action may raise question mark on operation launched by Rangers in Karachi .
We are of the view they added whatever actions and conspiracies are hatched against Journalists we would not leave path of truth and would continue to raise voice for guidance of suppressed people.
They said Sind Government did not take any action in connection with attack on Faheem Siddiqi. It is its failure.
We demand of Chief o Army Staff and DG Rangers to conducted an inquiry in this connection and unveil culprits.
They warned unless Faheem Siddiqi gets justice we would not sit silent and would continue our protest.
