Girls outshine boys in HSSC annual Exams 2013; total pass percentage remains 54.98 percent

RAWALPINDI, Sept 23 (APP): Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) here on Monday announced the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), FA/FSc, annual Examination 2013
and the total passing rate remained 54.98 percent.
As many as 59,314 candidates appeared in the exam out of whom 32475 were declared successful with total 54.98 pass percentage. Out of total students appeared in the exams, 24948 were male while 34366 were
female candidates.
Pass percentage of male students remained 47.16 while 60.64 was
pass percentage of female students.
In FA/FSc exams, out of over-all three top positions, two boys students from Punjab College of Information Technology, Rawalpindi got
first and third positions with 1015 and 1011 marks in Pre-Engineering
group while a female student from Punjab College of Information
Technology, Rawalpindi got second position with 1012 marks in Pre-Engineering Group.
Sheikh Hassan Tanveer son of Sheikh Tanveer Ahmed, Roll no 725455
got first position with 1015 marks. Iqra Noor daughter of Noor Muhammad, Roll no 723626 stood at second position with 1012 marks while Ahmed
Shaheer son of Shakeel Ahmed, Roll No 725454, got third position with
1011 marks.
In Humanities group for girls, Syeda Rida Zainab daughter of Syed Nasim Taqi Jafery, Roll no 715117, student of government College for
Women Gujar Khan got first position with 935 marks. Nimra Waheed daughter
of Abdul Waheed, Roll no 739826, student of Vill, PO Thanil Kamal, Distt Chakwal stood at second position with 920 marks while Javeria Irfan
daughter of Qazi Irfan Hussain, Roll no 730373, student of government girls higher secondary school Mari Danishman Dan got third position with 916 marks.
Khuzaima Jabaroot Bin Suleman son of Shahzada Suleman, Roll no
721020 student of Government Gordon College Rawalpindi got first position with 897 marks in Humanitites group for Boys.
Sumaiya Sarfaraz daughter of Hafiz Sarfaraz Ahmed, Roll no 723745, students of Punjab College of Information Technology for girls stood at first position with 991 marks in Science General Group for Girls.
Arslan Arshad son of Arshad Mehmood Nasir, Roll no 712722, student
of Military College Jhelum, got first position with 985 marks in Science General Group for Boys.
Sidra Murad daughter of Waheed Murad from Commerce Group for Girls, Roll no 729738, student of Jinnah Institute of Infomatics for Girls Rawalpindi stood at first position with 992 marks.
Rida Batool daughter of Sajid Hussain roll no 706017, student of
Kallar Kahar Science College for Girls Kallar Kahar Chakwal got first position with 1009 marks in Pre-Medical group for Girls. Moazama Khan daughter of Khalid Ahmed Khan of Pre-Medical Group girls, roll no 723102, student of Punjab College of Information Technology for Girls, Rawalpindi stood at second position with 1007 marks. Amina Bibi daughter of Muhammad
Munir, Pre-Medical Group Girls, Roll no 706021 from Kallar Kahar Science College for Girls Kallar Kahar Chakwal got third position with 1001 marks.
The candidates can check their result on the board's web site www.biserwp.edu.pk.
Total enrolled student for HSSC exams were 60682 while 59314
candidates appeared in the examinations. Out of total male and female students 908 got A-1 grade, 2733 got A grade, 7121 students were declared successful in B grade while 12606 students were awarded C grade.
32475 students remained unsuccessful while 1364 were absent in the examinations.
