Govt wants to promote technical‚ scientific education: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD Sept 24 (Online): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said loan facilities on low mark up rate to youth to start their businesses would put the country on path of speedy development.
In an interview‚ he said under the Prime Minister's youth package‚ a huge amount has been earmarked to equip them with different skills.
The Minister said merit would be ensured to implement the youth package.
Ahsan Iqbal said the government wants to promote technical and scientific education to explore new opportunities for the youth.
He urged the students to focus on getting scientific and technical education instead of adopting soft subjects.
