Security bolstered at Quetta churches after Peshawar bombings

QUETTA Sept 24 (Online): Security was put on high alert at churches in Balochistan's capital of Quetta in the wake of Peshawar terror attack.

Jan Buledi, a spokesman of the Balochistan government, said that Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik has directed police to beef up security at churches, temples and other places of worships in Quetta and other cities of Balochistan.

Heavy police and FC personnel have been stationed at all churches in Quetta.

Security personnel are asking churchgoers to go through security check before entering the building.
