IG Punjab files report with SC on sexual violence against girl

ISLAMABAD, September 14 (Online): IG Punjab police has filed report in Supreme Court (SC) with regard to sexual assault on a 5 years old girl in Lahore.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had taken suo motu notice of this incident and sought report from IG Punjab about the incident.
Report was filed with registrar office which has sent it to CJP for further orders. CJP will decide about regular hearing of the case after reviewing the report.
Report said as per CCTV video the girl was left outside the hospital in precarious condition. Medical report proves that the girl has been subjected to sexual violence.
Report said two police teams have been constituted to arrest the culprit who has not been identified so far.
