Pak-Army kicks off rescue operation in Quake-hit areas

ISLAMABAD, September 24 (Online): Pakistan army Tuesday dispatched its rescue teams along with helicopters for rescue operation in Quake-hit areas of Balochistan.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 200 Army personnel and helicopter were dispatched for rescue operation.

“Khuzdaar will be base for Rescue operation, night flying helicopters with medics on their way while Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Khuzdaar has been alerted to cope with the situation” DG ISPR told media on Tuesday.

According to media reports, teams of Frontier Constabulary (FC) arrived at Libash, quake hit area and started rescue activities.
