Ashura-e-Muharram: CM, Commander SC, IGFC, other high ups personally monitor security situation

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Commander Southern Command, Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz, Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC), Major General Muhammad Sher Afgun and Provincial Home Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti visited the Control Room established in the Central Police Office (CPO) to personally monitor the security arrangements made for the Ashura-e-Muharram here the other day.
The Chief Minister, Commander Southern Command and others monitored the security arrangements made for the procession through the close circuit Television (CCTV) cameras installed there in the Control Room.
A detailed briefing was also conducted for the Chief Minister and others on the overall security arrangements made for the security of procession of 10th Muharram.
Also present in the Control Room were the Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattha, Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Amlish, Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs, Captain ® Akbar Hussain Durrani, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Syed Imtiaz Shah, Commissioner Quetta, Kambar Dashti, the senior army and Frontier Corps officers, besides other concerned high ups.
Maj. General Sher Afgun:
Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC), Major General Sher Afgun personally supervised the security arrangements made for the Muharramul Haram in Quetta on Tuesday.
He took an aerial view of the security of the Ashura-e-Procession in the metropolis.
