PFMA likely to increase flour prices

KARACHI, Sep 25 (Online): Flour Mills Owners has initiated preparations to increase the price of flour up to Rs 2 per Kg after the increase in the rate of power tariff by government.
Spokesperson of Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) said, due to increase in the rate of power tariff by government bills of mills have raised up to 75 percent and it is inevitable to transfer this burden to consumers.
Association said, government has been given reminder in this regard for several time, however, no answer has been received by government yet.
Spokesperson PFMA said, in the condition of not replying of government, association will be forced to increase the price rate of flour.
