QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Health, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch has categorically stated that the absentee doctors and medical staff deserved no relaxation, and as such stern action would be taken against them.
Talking to the media here, the Health Minister said that the provincial government is committed to provide healthcare facilities to the people, and those creating hurdles to achieve the goal would not be spared at all.
He said that the government is facilitating the civil servants. As they draw salaries and get incentives, so they have to discharge their responsibilities well. He regretfully pointed out that the patients turning up to the Health department and government hospitals face problems due to absence of the doctors and other concerned staff, what is uncalled for.
The government is blamed for the absence of doctors and other concerned staff, but it would not tolerate the situation, the Minister Health asserted.
In view of the critical situation, the government has decided to take stern action against the absentee staff, adding he mentioned. He also said that the doctors have to perform and there’s no room for the negligent ones in the health department.
We have to make realize of our responsibilities, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch stressed.
