Lt. Colonel among 12 dead in daredevil attack on Indian army camp

SRINAGAR Sept 26 (Online): In occupied Kashmir‚ at least twelve people including ten Indian troops and police personnel were killed in an attack on an army camp near a police station in Kathua district on Thursday morning.
According to reports‚ the Mujahideen dressed in Indian army uniform entered the Indian Army camp at Hiranagar in the and killed at least six Indian troopers including a Lt. Colonol and four police personnel. Two civilians were martyred by Indian troops on the occasion. Over a dozen people have been injured.
Kathua-Jammu highway has been closed while the encounter is going on. Further details are awaited. A police constable has also been killed at Naina Batapora in Pulwama district.
