(HQ): Present Federal government is committed to double BISP to end poverty from the country. More than 26545 deserving people was benefitting from Mekran including Gwadar.
This was stated by Minister of State and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) while addressing BISP beneficiaries in Gwadar, Pasni and Ormara.
Provincial Minister Rehamt Saleh Baloch, DGBISP and others were also present.
She said a survey would be undertaken afresh to further improve BISP and making it still transparent so that not a single poor and deserving woman is deprived of benefits of BISP.
She said deserving and poor women were being provided financial assistance under BISP to enable them useful citizen of the society and help them stand on their feet.
Marvi Memon said our government was implementing various projects in the country including Balochistan.
She asked women cottage industry would be provided government patronage in the country and outside markets to support them to help them stand on their feet to improve their financial matters.
