Balochistan receives rain second day

(HQ): Major parts of Balochistan including Quetta valley received rain second consecutive day Thursday. So far 26 mm of rains have fallen in Quetta Valley. Of these 11 mm were recorded yesterday while 15 mm have fallen today. Rainfall turned weather bit chill in the Valley.
Continued rain sent a wave of delight among zamindars and growers. A police head constable died owing to lightning in Chamalang.
According to details major parts of the province including Quetta Valley, Pishin, Chaman, Loralai, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibi, Mekran, Kalat continued to receive rain second day today.
Experts said due to these rains long dry conditions in the province have also ended. It also sent a wave of pleasure among zamindars and growers.
On the other hand continued rain exposed faulty development projects as dirty water was flowing on roads and streets causing difficulties to the pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Roads and turned into ponds.
Taking notice of the situation Chief Minister directed concerned authorities to take immediate measures for cleanliness of dirty water form roads and streets.
Ziarat Valley received 30 mm of rains so far.
Meanwhile a police Head Constable Baz Muhammad died of lightning in Chamalang area. He belonged to Balochistan Constabulary. His body w as shifted to local hospital.
Met office has predicted light rain and cloudy weather during coming 24 hours in major parts of the province.
