Chest Society to observe World TB Day on 24th

QUETTA: The Pakistan Chest Society (PCS) Balochistan chapter has decided to observe World Tuberculosis (TB) Day on March 24 in the province like the past.
It was decided to create awareness through different activities including awareness programme and walk to be arranged marking the TB day.
The decision to this effect was made during a meeting of the PCS Balochistan held at the Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital the other day.
As per the decision made, the experts would speak on the disease, its history, treatment and prevention methods.
The participants also discussed in detail the International Conference to be held next month (April 7-10) in Lahore.
It was decided to ensure wholehearted participation in the Conference.
The names were also finalized for the members of Governing Council. They were included: Dr. Syed Naeem Agha (Vice President), Dr. Mehmood Ahmed Shahwani, Dr. Sohail Mushtaq.
