Lahore rape victim undergoes successful second surgery

LAHORE Sept 26 (Online): A five-year-old girl from Lahore, who was gang raped by unknown men, underwent successful second surgery.
According to doctors, the minor girl will remain in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while she would be shifted to ward within next four days after monitoring her condition.
The victim had also undergone a surgery before this operation.
An outpouring of grief and anger swept the nation following ghastly ‘gang rape’ of a five-year-old girl in the Mughalpura neighbourhood of Lahore on September 13, with rights activists pressing for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
