3 injured as Young Doctors rally baton charged, tear gas shelling

Three doctors were injured and 35 were arrested by police during baton charge, aerial firing and tear gas shelling here Thursday.
According to details a rally was taken out under auspices of Young Doctors Association in support of t heir demands from Civil Hospital here today. When it reached at Anscomb road here today police stopped it to move towards Balochistan Assembly. Police resorted to baton charge, aerial firing and tear gas shelling. Three doctors were injured. Police also arrested 35 doctors including President Young Doctors Association Doctor Hafeez. They were lodged at Civil Lines Police Station.
Office bearers of Young Doctors Association while condemning the incident said violence against peaceful rally is open terrorism and it is condemned.
