BA adopts resolution Ziarat declaring it Tourism zone

QUETTA Apr 11 (PPI): Balochistan assembly at its session here Monday adopted a resolution on declaring Ziarat as Tourism Zone.
Juniper forests of Ziarat are spreading over 200 square miles and it is very old jungle.
Resolution was jointly moved by Ghulam Mustafa Tareen, Mohtarma Samina Khan, Mohtarma Husn Bano Rakhshani, Mohtarma Kishwar Ahmed Jattak, Mohtarma Shahida Rauf, Mohtarma Masooma Hayat, Mohtarma Arifa Siddiq, Mohtarma Dr Shama Ishaq, Mohtarma Rahat Jamali, Mohtarma Spozmai Achakzai.
It said Ziarat is a health and green area of Balochistan also occupied historic importance because of Quaid e Azam Residency. It has also unique position about tourism in the province. Therefore Provincial government should be declared it Tourism Zone.
Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri said Government has allocated Rupees one billion for beautification of Ziarat. He said these funds should be utilized by end of current financial year so that government could also give more funds during PSADP of next financial year.
He said it is our desire that new hotels, motels are built there. He said he has asked people to establish good hotels in the area so that people form other areas come here.
Agha Liaqat Ali, William Barkat, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal also spoke on the motion.
In her ruling Speaker Mohtarma Rahila Durrani said since Tourism Department is with provincial government following 18 th amendment of Constitution, therefore it is adopted as Ziarat is declared Tourism zone so that province benefits economically from this beautiful area.
