Governor opens 2-day international conference at BUITEMS

QUETTA Apr 11 (PPI): Nineteenth and twentieth centuries are centuries of inventions and education in which science has made tremendous progress. Due to these scientific inventions human lives have achieve swiftness and developed and man was relief of traditional way of life and physical work.
This was stated by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while addressing 2-day international conference on Computing, electronic and Electrical at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and management Science (BUITEMS) here Monday.
GOC 41 Division major General Abid Lateef, chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority Syed Ismail Shah, federal and provincial officers attended.
Engineers, researchers and educationalists from New Zealand, Britain, turkey, Russian and all over Pakistan were taken part. Three hundred and ten research papers and essays have been presented from 23 countries at this 2-day conference and of this 85 research papers were accepted.
Conference is aimed at to introduce students and teachers of Balochistan and Pakistan of modern educational and scientific demands and latest inventions and gathering researchers of Balochistan and world on a platform.
Governor Achakzai who is also chancellor of BUITEMS during today’s era technology occupies back bone.
Governor said agriculture revolution on one had has removed shortage of food by increasing it, it has also kept safe from weather conditions and natural calamities due to industrial revolution. Thus human has been able to lead comparatively an easy life.
He said human has achieved capability to increase maximum food stuff in shortest period.
Governor said we are passing through era of information where distances are small and mobile phone us being used for coordination. He said electronic goods were affecting every aspect of life which was being used for human needs in different way.
He regretted that unfortunately scientific inventions were limited to few countries while people in Asia, Africa and Latin America are deprived of benefits fo these inventions as a whole.
He said technology itself was changing. He hoped that scientists and researchers would take full measures to resolve problems confronting human beings.
Governor appreciated efforts of organisers for organizing such an impressive conference and expressed the hope that this international conference would have positive and meaningful results.
Chairman PTA Syed Ismail Shah said that it is aimed at to provide best telecommunication facility to the common consumers and help them to become a responsible digital consumer using technology in meaningful and positive way.
Vice Chancellor BUITEMS Engineer Farooq Ahmed Bazai said that technology is way of development of nations. Technology was bringing modern changes in education, health, economic matters and at the universities. To meet challenges of the present day combination of technology and knowledge is very much necessary.
He thanked all the educationists and researchers to the conference form all the world and hoped that their suggestions would play important role in country’s development.
Farooq Bazai also hosted a dinner for the participants at the Takatu Campus.
