Sabotage activities upset environment for talks: Fazl

Islamabad Sep 26 (Online): Head of Jammiat Ulema-e-Islam(F), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that reaction of the government and army due to martyrdom of Major General Sana Ullah and church carnage, disturbed the atmosphere of talks with Taliban.

He was speaking to a seminar and latter talking to the media on Thursday , he said that ceasefire is the first step for the peace. The apprehensions about the conclusion should not be expressed before kicking off the negotiation process. He said that there is not any need to open a separate office for the talks with Taliban, however before the talks starts each party should has to tolerate each other.

Now the agenda of PTI is coming to the surface openly. Imran Khan does not know the problems of Pakistan.

He said that the there is no requirement to amend the anti blasphemy law. Maulana was of the view that uniform local bodies system should be laid down in all the four provinces of the country.”We do not want to execute any system on the gun point.”, he added.

He said that the recommendations of Council of Islamic Ideology must be implemented. There are some perplexity in the 18th amendment and to remove it necessary legislation should be made. He was of the view that federation should have more powers than the provinces


The JUI Chief said that they appeal to international powers to leave Pakistan alone to tackle with her problems and don’t fight the proxy wear in here.
