Balochistan to have 725 new schools
QUETTA, Oct 31 (APP): Under Global Partnership Program, 725 primary
schools will be opened in Balochistan with cost of around Rs 03 billion.
Royal Time Monitoring System has also been introduced at state-run
schools in the province to check the attendance of teachers and students.
Director, Balochistan Education Project, Asfandyar Khan told media
persons here that Royal Time Monitoring System has been introduced at state-run schools all over Balochistan adding that deputy commissioner and district education officer of every district would have access to information about every school through this system.
"About 725 new primary schools will be opened in the province with cost
of Rs 03 billion while 95 primary schools have been upgraded to middle and 25 middle schools to high schools," he said.
"NTS test of 1600 candidates have been conducted and deputy
commissioners of the districts concerned will conduct their interviews and issue their posting orders".
He said that steps were being taken to provide furniture and other
required items to schools. "State-run school will also be monitored through GPS system," he said.
