Four policemen suspended

LAHORE, Sep 27 (APP): Capital City Police Officer
Chaudhry Shafique Ahmad Friday suspended four constables
of Muhafiz police, Liaqatabad police station, on charges of
firing on people and abuse of power.
Police also registered a case against them.
The CCPO ordered the SP Model Town Tariq Aziz to visit
the crime scene and conduct an inquiry.
Four policemen were found guilty of abuse of power and
misconduct in the inquiry report.
According to police, Muhafiz squad signaled to stop a
motorist, Tanvir, for checking but he did not stop his car.
To which, the squad opened fire on him, injuring Tanvir and a
pedestrian.
