Cold weather persists

QUETTA Jan 9 (PPI): Severe cold weather persisting for the last 48 hours continued to prevail in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan Monday. It slashed minimum temperature to minus 9.5 Celsius today same as yesterday. Minimum temperature recorded today was 11 Celsius while it was 9.5 Celsius yesterday.
North westerly winds blew across the Valley today at a velocity of 18 knots. There was warm sun under the shades. But winds in open were strong and cold.
Met office has forecast cold and dry weather during coming 24 hours in Quetta and major parts of Balochistan.
