LHC takes notice of kidnap of a woman

LAHORE Sept 28 (Online): Lahore High Court on Saturday took notice on a news published in a section of press regarding kidnapping and gang-rape of a woman in suburban area of Satiyana.

District & Sessions Judge, Faisalabad has been directed to probe into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the border military police along with his own comments.

According to details, a nomad, Shama, resident of village Dera 277/GB told Rodala Road police that her wife was going to nearby village to sell bangles when accused Tariq and Abid abducted her.

They took her in the sugarcane fields where eleven culprits including
Riasat, Sadri, Abid, Tariq, Amir, Imran and Allah Rakha etc molested her and fled into her unconscious. Police registered a case the said nominated accused and started investigation.

LHC Complaint Cell took serious notice of the news and directed the concerned D&SJ to look into the matter and submit report in a
week.
