Said we want to make it clear that Pakistan international border is non negotiable and no compromise would be made on it.. Afghan forces in their unprovoked firing targeted civil population which is extremely shameful act.
He was speaking with Newsmen after visiting affected areas in Chaman today.
He said we destroyed four to five posts in Afghan area in which more than 50 people of Afghan forces were killed. Around one hundred were also injured. We are not happy to cause damages to Afghan forces as they are our Muslim brothers but they at behest of someone else attacked Pakistan.
Briefing Newsmen on Afghan forces provocation IG FC said Afghan forces personnel created hurdle in the work of census. Process of census was going on in Kili Luqman and Killi Jahangir for four days. Afghan forces entered into Pakistan area and captured houses and took positions there. We regained control of our areas on the morning of May 5 and then they resorted to ceasefire.
He said for fear of damages to civilians we did not use heavy weapons.
We only hit posts that opened fire in Pakistani population. We would not allow anyone to come to our border areas. No talk can be held on Pakistan’s international border nor is any violation acceptable.
He said we would ensure our regional stability at every cost. Indian people give negative advices in Afghanistan. He made it clear that war is not in favour of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
