Solution to Kashmir‚ Palestine issues pivotal for global peace: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD, September 28 (Online): Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday said that Kashmir dispute should be resolved according to the wishes of the Kashmiris.
In an interview‚ the minister said that peace efforts cannot succeed without resolving Kashmir and Palestine issues.
Ahsan Iqbal said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif‚ in his address to the United Nations‚ successfully highlighted problems being faced by Pakistan and the Muslim World. People can be better served if there is peace in the region.
He said people of South Asia suffered a lot due to wars.
The Minister said that democracy is taking roots in Pakistan. He said making Pakistan economically a stronger country is Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's top agenda
