NAB makes headway in Balochistan Mega Corruption case

QUETTA Feb 15 (PPI): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has made important headway in Balochistan Mega Corruption Case. Due NAB Balochistan efforts Sindh Government has transferred illegal properties of accused made in DHA Karachi to Balochistan government. These properties included Rupees 1.25 billion value residential bungalows, Commercial and residential plots. These properties were in the name of residents living in far flung areas in Balochistan and Sindh which were located by Investigation Officer Shoaib Shaikh.
It is added here that NAB Balochistan arrested former Secretary Finance Mushtaq Raisani in a raid at his house in May 2016 and recovered billions of Rupees in cash. Expanding investigation illegal properties of accused in Finance Case were traced in DHA a Posh area of Karachi which were captured. On the orders of Chairman NAB, a team was constituted headed by Deputy Director NAB Balochistan Muhammad Shaoaib Shaikh about illegal properties of accused of Finance case. This team along with Additional Secretary Finance representative of Government of Balochistan Ishaq Jamali started work on proprietary rights of these illegal properties along with Revenue Department Sindh and DHQ officials to transfer them to Government of Balochistan. Due to their successful efforts transfer of these properties has been made to Balochistan Government.
