SIBI Feb 15 (PPI): People’s Party has always done reconciliatory politics. It believes in practical struggle in political field according to constitutional requirements. We have philosophy of Shaheed Grandfather Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and thoughts of Daughter of East Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. No political party can face PPP. For resolving people’s problems there is need to get untied at the PPP platform.
We have launched membership campaign in the country at the ward level in an organized manner. With the power of youth people’s service would be continued by clean sweep in election elections.
These views were expressed by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing party workers through video technology here Thursday.
He said PPP struggled for democracy, stable and welfare State. It wrote a history of 50 years of continued commitment and great sacrifices. He regards jialay workers of party he said adding who supported his grandfather Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and were standing with zeal and zest with him. No doubt he added their support is encouraging and proud. He said his grandfather Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto launched Pakistan’s first membership campaign in which people from all over the country supported him. Today situation is that there is atmosphere of uncertainty and disappointment. Begin patriotic Pakistani and Chairman he considered his duty to play his role in this crucial situation and find out solution to problems of people from every nook and corner of the country and start countrywide membership drive under this situation. He said he invited all to join membership campaign. He hoped that they would come to their expectations. Let us pledge you all would become member of PPP and lay foundation for a bright and successful Pakistan.
Earlier a public meeting was held in which several speakers addressed. A lot of people announced to join PPP folds. They said that PPP considered service of People irrespective of colour and creed.
Police had made strict security measures on the occasion.
