Rechecking of water samples from certain filtration plants demanded

ISLAMABAD, Sept 28 (Online): Supply of contaminated water from certain filtration plants in federal capital is posing health hazards to the citizens.
The water being supplied at some filtration plants is not hygienic. One citizen obtained water samples from the water filtration plants located in F-6/1 and Ministers’ Enclave and got them checked from NHA. These two samples were declared unsatisfactory in the report.
The citizens of federal capital have appealed to the chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Nadim Hassan Asif to ensure rechecking of water samples from all filtration plants to avert eruption of any water borne disease in Islamabad.
