Justice Saeed Ajmal heart-favourite for NAB Chief slot

ISLAMABAD, September 28 (Online): Justice (R) Saeed Ajmal is being considered as heart-favourite for the slot of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar Saturday invited opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah for consultation with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on October 03, 2013 over appointment of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to media reports, Ishaq Dar contacted Khursheed Shah once again and discussed the proposals of different names for Chairman NAB on Saturday.
According to reliable sources, opposition leader was contacted by Finance Minister in USA and consulted for appointment of NAB chief.
After consultation, Dar invited Shah to Prime Minister Office on October 03 for more consultations, Shah accepted invitation.
It is assumed that decision regarding nomination of Chairman NAB would be made with consensus of government and opposition in the October 03 meeting.
It is to be recalled that opposition have forwarded name of Justice (R) Mian Ajmal but PM while expressing slight reservations presented the name of Justice (R) Ijaz Chaudhry but Pakistan Peoples Party rejected the name with serious concerns.
So, Justice (R) Saeed Ajmal is being considered as heart-favourite for the slot.
