UETTA Sep 28 (PPI): Speaker Balochistan Assembly Jan Muhammad Jamali has said if performance during anti Polio drive was not improved funds would be stopped.
MPAs Agha Liaqat, Rehmat Baloch and Mufti Gulab speaking on points of order in Balochistan Assembly said that polio teams do not work. They work for earning TA/DA. One case each has been reported in Zhob and Pishin but concerning officials were not bringing it on record.
In his ruling Speaker Jan Jamali who chaired the session today said it is regrettable dollars are pouring in here form outside but peole were spending them recklessly. If polio teams did not work funds would be stopped.
Members expressed anger over absence fo provincial assemblies at the official gallery. They said bureaucracy was ignoring officers of members.
Obedullah Babat said IG was missing. IG Prisons does not come to his office till 11 am. Agha Liaqat said Secretary Education instead of paying attention to work of people’s interest remains busy in seminars and conferences.
Members said political parties instead of criticism should setup camps in their respective areas for the assistance of earthquake hit people.
