Prices of petroleum products increased due to increase in international market: Sec Finance

ISLAMABAD, Oct 01 (Online): Secretary Finance Dr. Waqar Masood has said that prices of petroleum products has been increased here due to increase of their prices in international market.
On Tuesday, while talking to Online, secretary finance said that, price of oil which was purchased by government in the month of September from international market was higher, that is why prices of petroleum products has been increased.
He said new petroleum prices will be implemented from the month of October and if petroleum prices decrease in the month of Oct, then people of Pakistan will get benefit from it in next month.
“Government is already giving Rs 2.1 billion subsidy on petroleum productsâ€, he concluded.
