Relief operation in quake hit areas in full swing: CM Balochistan

Quetta, Oct 01 (Online): Chief Minister Balochistané Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has said that relief activities are in full swing in earthquake stricken areas of Awaran and Kech districts.
During a media briefing in Quetta on Tuesday regarding relief and rehabilitation worksé he said that three districts of Balochistan are most affected.
The CM added that 25 thousand families were affected due to two massive tremors in Balochistan and it is a difficult task to rehabilitate them.
He said that 600 people were injured in which 276 are seriously injured.
Dr. Malik said that 52 doctors are engaged to provide medical aid to injured people.
The Chief Minister said that Foreign aid should be appealed to United Nations and other friendly countries.
