It seems vehicles have become criminals: CJP

ISLAMABAD, October 4 (Online): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has remarked it seems as if vehicles have also become criminals.
He gave these remarks while presiding over a 3-member bench of Supreme Court (SC) during the course of hearing of bail plea of one accused Shahbaz who was arrested in forged cheque case worth million of rupees here Friday.
CJP remarked “ it was earlier heard about the criminals that they had left the country and gone to Afghanistan. Today police is saying the vehicles which have been stolen are also going to Afghanistan.
It seems as if the vehicles have also become criminals. Police escape from the matter by giving such statements.
The counsel for the accused gave the arguments but the court did not agree to it and rejected the bail plea.
