PAF flight safety officers graduation ceremony

KARACHI 04 OCTOBERE (Online): Graduation ceremony of No 65 Flight Safety Officers’ Course was held at PAF Base, Masroor. Air Marshal Syed Athar Hussain Bukhari, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Chief Guest awarded the certificates to the successful participants.

Squadron Leader Asad Khan bagged the Chief of
the Air Staff Best Graduate’s Trophy for best performance in the course. Trophy for Best Group Research Paper on the topic (Understand Spin) was
given to Squadron Leader M Talha Saeed, Squadron Leader Usman Qamar and Squadron Leader Asad khan.
The course comprised officers from Pakistan Air Force, Army, Navy and friendly countries, which include: Bangladesh, Iraq, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Nigeria.

While emphasizing upon the importance of safety, the Chief Guest,” in the recent years the need to instill aviation safety management has become a necessity, not just because of the complexity of aviation, but
also because it has become extremely expensive and the losses are becoming unaffordable.

Even though its premiums in terms of cost may seem high, but the dividends in terms of preservation of valuable lives, aircraft and equipment are immeasurable”.

Earlier, on his arrival at the Base, the Chief Guest was received by Air Commodore Noor Elahi Bajwa Officer Commanding Institute of Air Safety.
